Dr. Shin has literally changed my life.
A few weeks to a month before I made the decision to try Gonstead, I did some research on YouTube to see exactly the style of chiropractic that is performed. For as long as I can remember, I thought I had severe allergies to the point of being unable to breathe through my nose on a daily basis. A friend mentioned how much it affects my speech, ability to breathe correctly, and what looked like a deviated septum.
I went in for an exam and instead he finds my C1 vertebrae is severely pinched and after the first adjustment, within a few minutes and ever since, I can fully breathe correctly through my nose. I still have allergies but they are a fraction of how they affected me (or how I believed they were affecting me) and my nose has not locked up once, with my condition slowly getting better with each adjustment. That night for the first time in at least 20 years, I could brush my teeth without opening my mouth to breathe, and my speech with certain syllables has become more clear and punctuated.
Dr. Shin is incredibly informative, easy going and will explain anything that needs explained and why certain adjustments of the spine can correct issues that one might think would be another type of correction and/or medicine. I have always been a skeptic, but with something as real as being able to fully breathe for the first time I can remember, I am convinced of certain ways to help correct the condition that I had had all my life.
